VC LAID THE FOUNDATION FOR A 500-CAPACITY LECTURE THEATRE
The Vice Chancellor, Federal University Oye-Ekiti, Prof. Isaac U. Asuzu, has laid the foundation for a 500-capacity lecture theatre sponsored by the Implementation Committee of Federal Ministry of Education. The exercise took place on Monday March 23, 2015.
Speaking at the event, the Vice Chancellor tasked contractor handling the project on quality work, charging him to keep tocontract completion-time schedule. “If you do it according to schedule, you will not have problems with us,” he cautioned, stating reassuringly his belief that for the contractor to have successfully scaled through the bidding process, he would deliver qualitatively and timeously, too. He therefore proceeded to perform the foundation-laying ceremony to the glory of God.
In the creative and innovative spirit of FUOYE, acting Registrar D. A. Adeyemo, acting Bursar Obadiah Dyiltu, Dean Faculty of Humanities & Social Science, Prof Rasaki O. Bakare and Dean Faculty of Science, Prof Sylvia Uzochukwu, were also called upon to support the VC in the exercise by adding a block each to the foundation. Other officers of the university present were DOP Ikechukwu Areh, acting Director, PPU, Engr. Sade Adebayo, Head Legal Unit, Bar. Amaechi Eni as well as the project team leader, Ojo Ademola.
