TETFUND Applaud Fuoye Project

The Tertiary Education Trust Fund, (TETFUND), has commended Federal University, Oye Ekiti, FUOYE, for clearly leading its contemporaries in project implementation during its visit to the university.

The visiting team reiterated its fund’s plan to build two student hostels, as well help train FUOYE’s academic staff at higher degree levels, in Nigeria and overseas.

On his part, the Acting Registrar of FUOYE, Mr. Daniel Adeyemo, appealed for special intervention in area of water, emphasizing that water scarcity on campus posed a great challenge to smooth operation of the institution. Concluding, Mr. Adeyemo enjoined TETFUND to take into consideration FUOYE’s unique structure of two campuses, as it poses a huge funding challenge.
The TETFUND team leader promised to convey the prayers of FUOYE management to their headquarters’ while stating that the 2013 normal intervention fund would take care of FUOYE’s water needs.
After the closed door meeting, the visiting team was taken through an inspection tour of past and pres projects on the FUOYE campuses.
Visibly impressed by what she saw on ground, Chief Mrs. Anna Kolawole praised management over what she termed, FUOYE unmatched integrity and total adherence to TETFUND’s project implementation therefore assured management of Tetfund ‘s readiness to always partner with it in all fronts.
