Fuoye Fundraising Events In Lagos

Federal University Oye-Ekiti

Development and Fundraising Unit

Fundraising, Development and External Relations constitute the Development office of the Federal University Oye-Ekiti, Nigeria. We are proud of the quality of the programmes offered, the excellence exhibited in faculty teaching, and the calibre of academic achievement attained by our staff and students which are all indications of a striving vibrant growing University.

Rearing For Accreditation

As we all know, a university will only be a mere gathering of individuals, without focus or destination, if its programmes are notaccredited by its regulatory bodies. Knowing this we cannot stand in abeyance to hope for luck. Our university is currently running four faculties namely Agriculture, Engineering, Science and Humanities. Of the four, the first three are of great concern to us.

Critical logistics need to be quickly put in place if our accreditation billed for the first quarter of 2014 is to be successfully prosecuted.  In view of the above, the University Fund Raising Committee, Federal University Oye – Ekiti organised a launch for the Faculty of Engineering titled “Infrastructure Development Drive Initiative and Fund- Raising Dinner” which took place on the 23rd October 2013, at the Transcorp Hilton Hotels, Abuja.

At the end of the day about N100, 000 000.00 worth of equipment and cash was realised in donations and pledges. We seek for more Philanthropic support and investment from corporations, foundations friends, parents and other stake-holders which will translate to the much-needed recourse for the continued development of the University. The University fundraising Committee is therefore organizing another fundraising event at a soon to be disclosed date to take place in Lagos, Nigeria.

Your support and investment will help the university produce young graduates who meet employment requirements of the nation and the world at large; conducive environment for academic staff to conduct cutting edge research and affect local national and international affairs.

Your involvement, support and comments about our activities are very desirable.

Thank you for visiting, we are looking forward to hearing from you.
