As part of efforts to showcase laudable achievements of the Management under the administrative supervision of the Dr. Mohammed Yahuza led Governing Council, the Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE), Prof. Abayomi Sunday Fasina addressed journalists of both the print and electronic media on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at the Council Chambers.
In an almost two-hour Powerpoint presentation of the achievements tagged: Raising the Bar, Prof. Fasina took the Reporters through his fruitful journey of a year since assumption of office on February 11, 2021.

FUOYE will get its first set of students for Medicine in May, 2022.
The University has 27,807 students currently. May hit almost 40,000 after the on-going admission excercise for the 2021/2022 academic session is concluded.
Council meetings of the University are being held regularly unlike what obtains in the previous administration.
