As part of efforts to showcase laudable achievements of the Management under the administrative supervision of the Dr. Mohammed Yahuza led Governing Council, the Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE), Prof. Abayomi Sunday Fasina addressed journalists of both the print and electronic media on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at the Council Chambers.

In an almost two-hour Powerpoint presentation of the achievements tagged: Raising the Bar, Prof. Fasina took the Reporters through his fruitful journey of a year since assumption of office on February 11, 2021.

We present the snippets of the presentation here:

FUOYE will get its first set of students for Medicine in May, 2022.

The University has 27,807 students currently. May hit almost 40,000 after the on-going admission excercise for the 2021/2022 academic session is concluded.

Council meetings of the University are being held regularly unlike what obtains in the previous administration.
