About FUOYE Library

The FUOYE Library is the University’s central academic information hub, established to support teaching, learning, research, and community service across all disciplines. The Library provides access to high-quality information resources, professional library services, and modern learning spaces that enhance academic excellence and knowledge creation.

As a core academic support unit, the FUOYE Library plays a strategic role in advancing scholarship by ensuring that students, faculty, and researchers have timely access to credible, current, and diverse information resources. The scope of the FUOYE Library covers all library and information services required to support academic programmes, research activities, and institutional development.

Responsibilities, Services, and Duties

The FUOYE Library performs the following key responsibilities:

▶Acquiring, organising, and preserving information resources relevant to academic programmes and research needs
▶Providing access to textbooks, journals, databases, and electronic learning
▶Supporting teaching and research through reference and information services
▶Delivering information literacy and research skills training for students and staff
▶Managing digital resources, institutional repositories, and scholarly outputs
▶Providing conducive reading, study, and collaborative learning environments
▶Supporting accreditation exercises through provision of up-to-date academic resources
▶Assisting researchers with literature searches, citation support, and research visibility
▶Implementing modern library technologies to enhance access and service efficiency
