About the Programme
The programme covers fish biology, aquaculture systems, water quality management, and post-harvest handling. Students explore hatchery operations, disease control, and sustainable practices using IoT monitoring. Emphasis on marine and inland fisheries integration. Graduates pursue careers in aquaculture enterprises, fisheries management, and international conservation projects.

The programme is premised on sustainable intensification of aquaculture to meet rising demand without ecological harm. It blends biology, engineering, and economics with modern tools like biofloc systems and genetic improvement.
