The Collaboration Directorate of the Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) serves as a strategic coordination unit responsible for fostering purposeful collaboration within the University and between FUOYE and external stakeholders. The Directorate is established to strengthen institutional synergy, promote interdisciplinary engagement, and enhance cooperation with academic, professional, governmental, and community-based partners.
As a modern public university operating in a global knowledge ecosystem, FUOYE recognises collaboration as essential to academic excellence, research impact, innovation, and societal relevance. The Collaboration Directorate provides an institutional framework that ensures collaborative initiatives are well-structured, aligned with University priorities, and sustainably managed.
Scope
The scope of the Collaboration Directorate covers internal and external collaborative activities across academic, research, administrative, and community engagement domains. Its scope includes:

Responsibilities, Services, and Duties
The Collaboration Directorate performs the following core responsibilities:

▶Supporting joint programmes, projects, and initiatives within the University
▶Providing guidance on collaborative project design, governance, and implementation
▶Strengthening engagement with professional bodies, industry groups, and community organisations
▶Supporting collaborative teaching, research, and innovation activities
▶Promoting knowledge sharing and institutional learning
▶Monitoring and documenting collaborative outcomes and impact
▶Advising Management on collaboration strategies that enhance institutional effectiveness
